Frequently asked questions

The questions Tesla owners ask us most. Can't find yours?

Contact us
01Do you work with insurance companies?

Yes. We work with all major insurance companies in Azerbaijan. Bring your policy details and, if you already have one, the claim number. We document the damage with photos, prepare a detailed estimate for the insurer and agree the repair directly with your adjuster. You only pay your deductible, if your policy has one.

02How long does an estimate take, and is it free?

An inspection and estimate at our shop takes about 20–30 minutes and is free. You can also send photos through the form on this page and we will usually give you a preliminary price the same working day. Hidden damage behind panels sometimes only shows up after disassembly. If it changes the price, we call you before doing any extra work.

03How long will my repair take?

It depends on the damage and on parts availability. Minor scratches and paintless dent repair often take 1–2 days, a bumper or a single panel 2–4 days, and larger collision repairs 1–3 weeks. You get a target completion date with the estimate, and we keep you updated if anything changes.

04Do you use genuine Tesla parts?

Yes. We use genuine Tesla parts whenever they are available and order them for your car’s VIN. If a genuine part has a long lead time, we may offer a quality OEM-equivalent alternative, but only with your approval, and we always tell you exactly what was installed. TeslaPoint is an independent repair shop and is not affiliated with Tesla, Inc.

05Will Autopilot work properly after a windshield replacement?

Yes. The forward-facing Autopilot cameras sit behind the windshield, so after replacing the glass we mount the camera bracket precisely and run the camera calibration. Before handing the car back we road-test it and confirm that Autopilot and the active safety features are available. The same applies to bumper repairs that involve parking sensors or radar.

06Can you match my Tesla’s paint color exactly?

Yes. We mix the paint from your car’s factory color code, then fine-tune the shade with a spectrophotometer and spray-out test cards under daylight lamps. Tesla’s multi-coat colors such as Ultra Red, Midnight Silver Metallic and Pearl White need extra layers, and where necessary we blend into the neighboring panels so the repair is invisible.

07Do you repair hail damage without repainting?

Yes. Most hail dents can be removed with paintless dent repair (PDR): the metal is carefully worked back into shape from behind, so the factory paint stays intact and the repair is faster and cheaper. Dents with cracked paint or on sharp body lines may need conventional repair and refinishing; we explain which method fits each panel.

08Is there a warranty on your work?

Yes. Bodywork and paint come with a 2-year warranty against workmanship defects such as peeling, fading or color mismatch. Replaced parts are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Keep your invoice: if something is not right, bring the car in and we will fix it free of charge.

09Can you tow my car or provide a replacement vehicle?

If your Tesla cannot be driven, we arrange a flatbed tow anywhere in Baku and on the Absheron peninsula. A Tesla should never be towed with its wheels on the ground. For longer repairs we can help you get a replacement car through our rental partners; ask about availability when you book.

10What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash in manats, Visa and Mastercard bank cards, and bank transfer for companies. For insurance repairs the insurer pays us directly and you only cover the deductible or any work outside the claim. Payment is due when you pick up the car.
